Letter from the chorbishop Philip Najim

Chaldean youth Congress
München-Germany
6-10 August 2012
Rise And Go
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who has given us in Christ every Spiritual blessing (Eph. 1:3).
On the occasion of the year of faith and the gathering of the Chaldean youth, may you fulfill the call of the Pope Benedict XVI by first knowing what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love (Eph. 3:18).  Then you may be transformed to become His hands, feet, eyes, ears, tongue and most of all His Heart and recover the identity that you belong to Jesus Christ because we are all One Body, One Body in Christ (1 Cor. 12).
Christ then is proclaimed by the witness of each one’s life.  This then begins a new change where “the renewal of the Church is achieved through the witness offered by the lives of believers: by their very existence in the world, [and where] Christians are called to radiate the word of truth that the Lord Jesus has left us” (Porta Fidei 6).
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who worked hard to make this gathering a reality.  In a special way, I would like to personally thank all the priests who organized this gathering.
Most of all, for each of you i pray and give thanks, the youth, for being present here.  You are truly a sign that the Church is alive.May our lives reflect God’s merciful love. You truly make our slogan for this gathering a reality, which is RISE AND GO.
Therefore, let us all proclaim together: “Blessed be the Name of Jesus!”  Both now and forever, amen.
With deep gratitude for his mercy let us give thanks for the wonderful name of Jesus! Through the hands and heart of Mary our blessed Mother. May his grace and peace be with you and your loved once always.
Sincerely in Christ our Savior
Chorbishop Philip Najim
Apostolic visitor for the Chaldeans in Europe
